Created from experience, not perfection,

for the outcasts, the loners, the rebels with a cause - the black sheep. 

for those who are misunderstood, criticised or feel like they don't belong.

But often the "black sheep"  are just The truth-tellers, the ones who question when others won't, the brave ones who stand alone instead of  sacrificing their identity to belong or keep the peace. It can also be the ones who become self-healers, break toxic generational cycles and inspire others to do the same. Sometimes, being labelled 'the black sheep' is a response from the dysfunction around you, rather than a reflection of who you are.

The journey might be a bit more complex, but our struggles can be our greatest obstacle as well as our greatest teacher. Sometimes the people and environments we're born into teach us the most about who we don't want to become. I learned that family isn't defined solely by blood, and that loyalty and belonging aren't things we should have to earn by tolerating behaviour that hurts us. True loyalty and belonging is built through the bonds we make and the ones who choose us in return. Those who build us up, encourage us through the good and the bad, and stay in our corner regardless of right or wrong because true loyalty makes the distinction between support for who we are separately from any choices or battles we face. 

There are so many of us quietly carrying these stories. I've realised the path is rarely walked alone and societal outcasting, family divides, and the struggle to heal from things beyond our control is so common.
